The Chameleon LED Lamp is an ideal table light for those with low vision because it allows users to select the optimal light color temperature and brightness level settings they need to maximize their viewing environment. The table light also provides superior illumination due to its exceptionally high Color Rending Index score of 94 (out of 100) which makes for near perfect contrast and color matching!
The control panel at the bottom of the Chameleon LED Lamp is where all the adjustments can be made. It features a high-contrast, black and white panel with the touch-button operation and LED identifiers that control the power, color temperature, brightness, night light and alarm clock setting. The lamp lets users choose among 5 different color temperatures which alter the color of the light from a warm yellow color to a bright white color—and the LED indicator light on the control panel shows the color too, so users don’t need to look at the light source to see the color selected. Every command is supported by an audio signal to confirm a change has taken place.
The Chameleon LED Lamp provides 5 brightness levels to choose from—20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100%. There is also a button for the Night-light mode which dims the light as well as a button to set a 2-hour timer after which the light turns off. The LEDs turn off automatically after 10 hours if no timer is set. An external remote control is also included with the lamp that includes an on/off button and buttons to adjust the light color and brightness.
The lamp’s flexible arm is 28” long and rotates 270° so it can be adjusted to shine the light where it is needed. The cover over the LEDs blocks blue light (65%) reducing the symptoms of Digital Eye Strain (such as dry eyes, headaches, etc.).
